The idea for the photographic project was to capture Parisian people and Paris city how it is today. I intended to reveal my own view and truth about Paris and people living in it. The purpose of the project is to remind the viewer about the highlights of Paris in a comparison to any other city, Parisian culture and values. The project not only captures the essence of Paris, but also the present time in which the city becomes more and more modern. It becomes scary to think, that Paris may loose its charm and uniqueness due to advanced technologies creating new trends and stereotypes. For this very reason I picked up my 35mm Nikon FM2 film camera hoping that I will not be too late to capture and save true Parisian essence at least in my photographs.
